LeakShot is a concentrated polymer based liquid that is scientifically designed to penetrate cracks, holes and leaks and to self harden, forming a permanent seal that stops water loss.
LeakShot can be applied to pool shells, vinyl liners, concrete and fiberglass shells, wood spas and barrels and more.
* SHAKE WELL BEFORE USING *
It is important to note:
*Do not add LeakShot to ponds with fish or live creatures in the water. Remove all living things from before adding LeakShot to the water. Clean or replace water thoroughly before re-introducing live creatures to the pond or pool.*
Bypass all filter media before adding LeakShot to water.
Sand Filters: Set filter valve to re-circulate.
Other types: Remove cartridges DE elements from filter tank. Then proceed to circulate through empty tank.
With pump running, add LeakShot slowly through skimmer or in front of any other suction intake.
After adding LeakShot, adjust the suction to main drain. If this is not possible, the vacuum cleaner could be used alternatively by simply placing the vacuum in deepest part of pool and connecting to the normal vacuum connection.
LeakShot polymer fluid is heavier than water and has the potential to sink to the lowest point of the pool. LeakShot can be stirred back into suspension, either manually using a pool broom or mechanically with an automated pool cleaner every 4-6 hours during the circulation of water.
Continue to recirculate water until the leak has stopped.
After the leak has stopped and given the proper time to cure (24-48 hrs.) you may return to normal filtration. Sand Filters: Set filter valve to filter and resume normal operation. Backwash out any unused LeakShot.
Other Types: Re-install filter into tank and resume operation. Rinse out any unused LeakShot from filter as required.
Keep Out Of Reach Of Children. LeakShot can cause severe eye and skin irritation. Do not get in eyes, on skin, or on clothing. Harmful or fatal if swallowed. Avoid contamination of food. Rinse empty container thoroughly with water and discard it.
In case of contact, immediately flush eyes or skin with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. For eyes, contact a physician. Remove and wash contaminated clothing before reuse. If swallowed, drink milk, egg whites or gelatin solution. If these are not available, drink large quantities of water. Call a physician immediately.
NOTE: LeakShot has been thoroughly field-tested under various weather conditions, and has proven to be effective in sealing leaks.
